Kerry sells Dawn Dairies milk business to Glanbia

Kerry Group has sold off its liquid milk business, Dawn Dairies, to rival Irish dairy company Glanbia.

Under the terms of the deal, Kerry will maintain ownership of the Dawn Dairies manufacturing plant in Limerick and will continue to provide milk from its own farmers for the brand for at least the next six years. The financial details of the deal have not been revealed.

Limerick-based Dawn Dairies serves the surrounding county as well as parts of Tipperary and Cork.
