UK dairy farmer co-operative First Milk has developed a resealable zip packaging for two of its brands.
The packaging will be available this month for the Scottish Pride and Pembrokeshire Cheese Company brands, with plans for the Lake District Cheese Company and Mull of Kintyre to follow suit next year.
Richard Hollingdale, sales and marketing director for the co-operative’s cheese division, said: “This convenient re-closable format hits the spot as people aim to reduce food waste and eliminate the need for re-packaging at home.”
