The popularity of milk as a flavour has dropped in the rankings of favourite flavours for baby beverages, according to new findings by Product Launch Analytics.

Top of the pops was a blend of flavours, with apple, banana, pear, and peach completing the top five. The figures are based on global baby beverage launches from August 2007 until August 2008.

Milk and perennial favourite strawberry were the main fallers, with milk flavour slipping from three to six, and strawberry slipping from fourth to seventh.
