Tudor Rose International, which works with The Jordan Ryvita Company, Kraft Foods, Unilever and The Burton Biscuit Company, will switch from paper-based processes to standardised, automated management of its logistics activities with AEB.

The export market management company works with big brands to develop the sales of their products outside the UK.

It will partner with AEB to use its ASSIST4 suite to standardise and automate business processes in supply chain execution.

The package includes Visibility & Collaboration Platform, Order Management, Warehouse Management, Transport & Freight Management, Customs Management and Compliance & Risk Management.

Visibility over the supply chain

Barry Wright, systems development manager, Tudor Rose International said AEB’s suite will improve and extend its service offering through integrated business processes, greater visibility over its supply chain, and closer integration of its warehouse operations.

ASSIST4 will help us to balance peaks and troughs while eliminating waste, and efficiently support our current operations as well as future growth,” he said.

According to AEB, Tudor Rose International realised neither its current operations nor its expected future business growth could be supported with its existing business applications.

Labeling will be streamlined

By implementing AEB’s ASSIST4 Warehouse Management and ASSIST4 Customs Management, warehouse operations including repacking and labeling will be streamlined as well as its international shipping and export documentation processes.

AEB’s ASSIST4 Visibility & Collaboration Platform will monitor inbound and outbound transport movements, including loading dock schedules.

Claire Umney, general manager, AEB, added Tudor Rose operations will be implemented in a phased approach, with the first stage planned to go live in October 2013.

AEB will also provide the hardware and mobile equipment required for Tudor Rose’s warehouse operations through our UK partner TouchStar Technologies,” she said.
