Talking to over 700 young dairy farmers at the FrieslandCampina youth day CEO Cees ’t Hart gave his vision of what the industry could look like in 10 years.
Cees ’t said such significant progress on sustainability could be made over the next 10 years that by 2020 it is no longer an issue for the dairy industry. The business leader said FrieslandCampina would also be using milk in entirely new ways.
As well being used in new and different ways in the food industry Cees ’t said milk components could have a significant future role in cosmetics and clothing.
