A seminar to be held in London on 30 April will explore the latest developments in nanotechnology, and its potential for use in the food industry.
Organised by the British section of the Institute of Food Technologists, in cooperation with the Society of Chemic Industry (SCI) and the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST), the event poses the question: “Does size really matter?”.
The line up speakers includes Dr Steffi Friedrichs, director of the Nanotech Industries Association; and IFT president Sheri Schelhaass, who will give an overview of the latest developments and views from the US.
Kathy Groves of Leatherhead Food International will also present on the potential for nanotechnology in food applications.
