Fonterra offers asset investment system (e-Capex) to other manufacturers

Former Gü directors Mike Hodgson (former md) and Amelia Harvey (sales director), have set up a joint venture with the New Zealand founders of The Collective Dairy to launch products in the UK.
Four flavours will include passionfruit, apple, Russian fudge and luscious lemon, while two additional flavours will be launched later in the year. Products will be available in 500g (RRP £2.39) and 165g pots, while the range is 95% fat free and sweetened with honey rather than sugar.
The first products will be available from Sainsburys, Waitrose and Ocado from June 2011.
Harvey said: "We believe that we'll bring in new and lapsed users into the category with a tast, healthy yogurt for anytime of the day."

Yes, but is it organic?
Sounds good (although I'm in the US, but I assume they'll expand here eventually), but is it certified organic? If not, why bother? As we are learning about the horrors beginning to be felt in the animal industry stemming from the stock consuming GE alfalfa and other crops, why launch new animal products unless they come from operations proven to be clean, healthful for the animals, and eco-friendly? I'm looking for a greater range of organic choices here in the US - I hope we get more foods that we can have faith in, instead of more prettified foods that come from the standard commercial ag models that are causing increasing problems around the globe. I hope this company at least offers an organic choice.
