The Kejayan factory is now one of the ten biggest Nestle milk-processing facilities worldwide with a capacity that has grown from 620,000 litres a day to over one million litres.
Inaugurated last week at a ceremony attended by MS Hidayat, the President of Nestle Indonesia, and the Indonesian industry minister MS Hidayat, the new production facility will produce the milk brands Lactogen and Dancow.
Chaudhry said: “This significant investment will open up tremendous opportunities for all suppliers in East Java and allow Nestle to satisfy the growing demand for its milk products in Indonesia.”
