PROCESS EXPO 2013 and the International Dairy Show expect record numbers of attendees, with exhibit space at 300,000 net square feet and growing.
The Food Processing Suppliers Assn. (FPSA) and International Dairy Foods Assn. (IDFA) decided to collocate their events, scheduled for November 3-6 in Chicago. David Seckman, FPSA president and CEO, said combining the shows bolsters the value of both events.
“The supplier community has wholeheartedly embraced this co-location with the International Dairy Show as it further strengthens the overall PROCESS EXPO event as an important destination for manufacturing solutions for the food and beverage industry," he said.
Further, Seckman said that about four months out from the event, signs point to the event being bigger than in the past.
“Registrations are ahead of the pace from our last show and we have quadrupled the number of VIP buying companies that have committed to bringing teams to this year's event,” he said.
PROCESS EXPO 2013’s exhibitor roster currently features more than 700 equipment and technology firms. Additionally, the event’s educational program includes access to more than 30 hours of programming tailored to meat, bakery, prepared food, packaging and other tracks.
The International Dairy Show also includes numerous exhibits from companies providing machinery and other technology geared toward the industry. Further, educational sessions focus on convenience foods, sustainability, reducing product loss, nutrition trends and more.
