The new wrapping machine packs the butter products in three different sizes at a rate of 250 packs per minute. According to Oystar, the Multipack 800 is the highest output machine available for wrapping pasty products like butter, margarine, and lard.
The machine is capable of processing 250 packs per minute ranging from 100 to 500 grams in size. At its Zapfendorf plant Bayerische Milchindustrie uses the machine to pack butter in pack sizes of 200, 250 and 400 grams in aluminum-clad paper. Plant manager Friedrich Fischer said the new addition has helped to significantly increase production capacity at the processing facility.
