Do you have what it takes to take on the editorship of Europe’s number one daily news service for the food, beverage, and nutrition industries?

FoodNavigator, the top European trade publication for the food manufacturing and ingredients industries, is seeking a talented editor to lead its team of journalists and drive content in multiple formats and attend events as the face of FoodNavigator.

From the latest innovations from food giants like Nestlé and Unilever, to regulatory action on kids’ food marketing, and the latest science on taste perception or sugar reducing formulations; FoodNavigator is there providing the most in-depth coverage to the industry, fast.

Based in our UK offices near Crawley, the position is an initial 12 month contract - with the potential to be extended'

We’re after someone as comfortable talking food policy with a Member of the European Parliament as a food scientist discussing lipophilic profiles in foodstuffs; Someone that can understand the dynamics of fat taxes or peer into the world of lab-grown meat or the use of insects as food sources.

Our top candidate will also understand the nuanced importance of social media to the food industry and to FoodNavigator, and will be comfortable chairing conferences and debates and helping compile programmes for our top level online and face to face events.

We’re ideally looking for an editor with B2B experience, who feels comfortable writing and editing business, science, and multimedia content.

Experience in, or knowledge of the food industry, and a portfolio of industry contacts would be a big bonus.

The chosen candidate will be expected to contribute and manage daily content for FoodNavigator.com with support from journalists based in the UK, France, and the USA.
