Dutch food giant Numico, has sold the dairy activities of Mococa to Brazilian food and cleaning products manufacturer Kremon do Brasil. The move is part of Numico's ongoing strategy of streamlining.
"The divestment of this non-core asset is in line with Numico's strategic objective to become a high-growth, high-margin specialised nutrition company by focusing on its core activities baby food, clinical nutrition and (subsidiary) GNC," the company said in a statement.
Numico did not reveal the sale price of the dairy operations. The Dutch business intends to maintain Mococa's cereal brands and cereal operations.
