New institute formed to plan and fund dairy R&D

Dairy Management has formed the Dairy Research Institute to improve funding and support for research into nutrition science, product development and sustainability.

The president of the newly formed Dairy Research Institute explains how the US organisation plans to drive forward R&D in the dairy sector by bringing together interested parties from industry, government and academia.

Greg Miller, who is also the executive VP of Dairy Management Inc, said it is critical to the success of the whole dairy sector that research is conducted in a collaborative fashion.
