SWF claims that its newly launched AS 100 accelerated product stacker achieves stacking speeds of more than 95 lifts per minute.
The system, which is said to be easily integrated with most case opening/sealing systems, includes servo-controlled lifting cleats which elevate a completed layer of product as a second layer of product is formed, all in one continuous motion (subsequent layers are elevated in the same continuous sequence). SWF says that the speed, coupled with no-tool fingertip changeover features, allows the AS 100 to easily adapt to ever changing product sizes and configurations.
Featuring an integrated case loading mechanism, the system is designed to increase performance on any new or existing case packing system. Typical applications include a variety of cartoned and boxed products, such as cereal, rice, cake mixes, baked goods and snack foods.
Standard features include photo-eye-controlled conveyors, precision stacking speed control, positive metering and spacing, full operator safety and rugged construction. All of these features are said to contribute to quick changeovers, increased performance, and reduced maintenance costs.
