Dannon, the US subsidiary of French dairy giant Danone, dropped from third place to fourth place in this year's Harris Poll EquiTrend rankings.
The company has made significant efforts to bulk out its Greek yogurt products portfolio in recent months, with the addition of Activia Greek - a fat-free, high protein variation of its probiotic-enriched Activia yogurt brand. Dannon has also taken steps to expand the reach of its yogurt products to men (see image).
As a result of its efforts, Dannon now boasts as the fastest growing Greek yogurt product portfolio in the US.
