Lucky escape as Nestlé worker avoids injury from exploding tanker
Part of the tanker, supplied by a third party supplier, allegedly ‘exploded’ causing bits of metal, foam and liquid chocolate to shoot across a yard.
“We can confirm a few weeks ago a third party supplier’s tanker failed causing the rear domed end to tear. The contents of the tanker were released,” said a spokeswoman for Nestlé.
“Nobody was hurt as a result of this incident. An investigation into the root cause is under way.”
