#PreProbiotics15
Invested in prebiotics & probiotics? This is your event

Last time more than 2000 registered including the likes of Coca-Cola, Danone, General Mills, Pepsi, Seven Seas, Solgar and Nestlé as well as start-ups, nutritionists, research organisations, regulators and more to engage the €20bn+ global market.
This time the managing director of Yakult Belgium and board member of the International Probiotics Association (IPA), Bart Degeest will make a rare public appearance, speaking in a round-table discussion on probiotics in Europe and beyond. Joining him will be Arthur Ouwehand, a scientific advisor with the IPA and R&D manager at DuPont-Danisco. Senior market analyst Marina Ponomareva from EAS Strategies will also join to share insights from the slow to the go-go-go in markets, marketing and more across multiple regions and formats from Europe to Asia to Africa and the Middle East.
Dr Gemma E Walton from Reading University in the UK will look at an emerging research area exploring how the microbiota evolves over time. With ever-ageing populations, the peculiarities of the elderly microbiota are under the microscope like never before. Can the right nutrients delivered in the right format to an elderly microbiota yield real health optimisation and public health cost benefits?
Other topics in the morning event (10am Paris time) include formulation and delivery gains and regulatory shifts in the EU, in Russia and other non-EU nations, in Asia and more.
