While Brexit may have an effect on the dairy industry in the UK, and possibly a ripple effect in other countries, the state of the dairy industry globally seems to be at a crossroads.

Last week in the UK, Dairy Crest and First Milk upped their milk prices. The GDP shows some signs of turning around. Analysts are saying prices may start to increase in the latter part of 2016 and into 2017.

But what are the main concerns and trends in your sector of the industry, and at your company?

DairyReporter is running its inaugural state of the industry survey to gauge views about the current state of the dairy processing industry, its online trends and the issues causing most concern.

As an incentive for answering our five-minute survey, all named entries will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win an iPad mini.

The deadline for surveys to be completed is July 20. The winner and the results of the survey will be communicated shortly afterwards.

We would also like to reassure you of the anonymity of your response. No mention will be made of either you or your company in the published results.

We are solely looking for general trends that are of interest to our readership.

The survey findings will also be analyzed in an article to be published shortly after the survey closes.  You can find out what your peers think about current industry challenges around the world.
