According to Mintel, both dairy and plant-based milks need to meet many of the nutrition requirements of Indian consumers, and this message has not been lost on recent introductions.
Hershey’s Sofit is said to be a source of protein, contains the fibre of 100g of lentils per 200ml serve, and is enriched with calcium equivalent to 100g of fresh apricots. It also contains omega-3, and the same amount of vitamin C as 100g of fresh apricots.
The vegetarian product is low in fat and saturated fat, and is free from lactose, cholesterol and preservatives.
