Humphry Slocumbe’s unusual flavors are ‘rebellious and rock & roll’
After nine years of serving San Franciscans in retail stores, Humphry Slocumbe launched a line of ice cream pints at retail less than a year ago and, according to a spokeswoman, the “rebellious and rock & roll” flavors are especially attractive to macho men. The No. 1 selling flavor is Secret Breakfast which blends bourbon and cornflakes into the ice cream and the second favorite is Blue Bottle Vietnamese Coffee. Other unusual flavors include Black Sesame, Matchadoodle, Dirty Chai and Blueberry Boy Bait.
