Minebea Intec has renamed its business in France as Minebea Intec France, following the acquisition of industrial weighing specialists Aaz Pesage and Centre Pesage last year.

With 170 staff, 11 locations, and 11 distribution partners, its products and services include truck scales, platform scales, vessel and silo scales, checkweighers, foreign body detectors, process software and calibration, and maintenance and repair services.

Isabelle Baumlin, country manager France, Minebea Intec, said it has 90 technicians and 10 trucks serving the French market, each truck equipped with 50 tonnes of weights for calibrating truck scales.

This is an important step in Minebea Intec’s ongoing development of its weighing and inspection business in France, and we are delighted to have completed this process,” she added.

Minebea Intec France is Cofrac-accredited in accordance with ISO 17020 for legal in-service inspection of weighing instruments up to 300 tonnes, and has an accredited calibration laboratory in Chartres for weights and weighing instruments.
