IPL Plastics introduces ‘Napoli’ style container for UK ice cream market

The company said the new size ice cream tub, which it is launching in the UK, will not panel under blast chilling operations, due to its design features.

Available from stock in natural, black, silver and white options the Napoli container is an industry standard, which means that IPL is now able to supply the frozen dairy market with all sizes of containers required.

Jamie Clark, director of retail sales at IPL Plastics Europe, said the container completes the company’s frozen dairy line up.

“Whilst our standard range is all IML-capable, the Napoli is offered in four standard colors without IML, and other colors would of course be available on request,”​ Clark said, adding the packaging has easy to apply snap on lids.

He added the company now has a diverse range of ice cream packaging to complements its existing range of dairy and food containers, all manufactured in a new BRC Grade AA accredited production environment in Cork, Ireland.
