Christeyns Food Hygiene opens refurbished UK site
The facility now incorporates 11 units at Cameron Court, Winwick Quay, in Warrington, having grown since 1989 when it was founded by John Bell as Klenzan. The latest investment, which has included external refurbishments to the whole site, has provided improved efficiency and safety procedures as well as increasing the overall sustainability of the site.
As part of the facility upgrade, CFH said it has invested in additional bulk tank storage to ensure that its customers receive a continued supply of the cleaning and disinfecting products required to keep their businesses running, whatever the Brexit outcome. Any disruption in supply could have serious effects on the nation’s food and beverage provision, the company added.
Neil Jones, managing director at Christeyns Food Hygiene, said, “This is a great step forward in the growth of our business as we prepare for the new decade. Warrington provides a great location with easy access to our customer base across the UK and Ireland, and I am pleased to announce we have secured a new ten-year lease.”
Christeyns Food Hygiene provides innovative hygiene solutions and specialized technical support for the food and beverage industry that ensure compliance with procedures, legislation and industry codes of practice. It employs more than 70 staff and works closely with several local suppliers.
