After more than a year of development and research, Danimals has launched Super Danimals, a new, low-fat yogurt.

Super Danimals joins Danimals’ line of dairy snacks, and will be available in packs of six four-ounce cups at grocery stores and retailers across the US in three flavors, Cherry Vanilla, Blueberry, and Strawberry, beginning this month.

Super Danimals was developed after more than a year of consumer research and product development, which revealed a priority for parents is to find products that can support children’s immune systems.

In response, the brand created Super Danimals, featuring probiotics and vitamins C and D, and with no artificial preservative ingredients and no colors or flavors from artificial sources.

“Based on our research, we know children’s health is always on parents’ minds, and families are exploring new ways to help support their children’s immune systems with the snacks they buy,” said Kristie Leigh, RD, senior manager of scientific affairs, Danone North America.

“By regularly adding Super Danimals to a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle, parents can feel good about helping support their children’s immune systems with a tasty snack their kids love.”

Pedro Silveira, president of yogurt, Danone North America, said, “We know probiotics better than anyone, putting us in the unique position to launch an immune system-supporting yogurt just for kids.”
