The UK’s top show for the ice cream industry, the Ice Cream and Artisan Food Show, is returning from February 8 to 10, 2022, at the Yorkshire Event Centre (YEC) in Harrogate.

Organizers the Ice Cream Alliance said the UK Government has prevented any exhibitions from taking place until April 2021, which meant the planned event in February 2021 could not go ahead.

Alternative dates were offered, but after discussion with exhibitors and members, May was considered to be too far into the season and November too early for the 2022 season.

The ICA said it wants to build on the success of the 2020 Ice Cream and Artisan Food Show and ensure the next Expo will be well attended for exhibitors and visitors.

It said the majority of exhibitors who were booked for 2021 have committed to promoting their businesses at the 2022 expo.  Companies already registered for the 2021 Expo will be automatically registered for the 2022 Expo.

The winner of Mobile of the Year and the winners of the National Ice Cream Competition 2021 will be announced at a virtual award ceremony sponsored by Machinery World in spring 2021.

Parlour of the Year, sponsored by Antonelli, will be launched in 2021 with the winner announced in 2022.
