German dairy company Alpenhain was debuting several new products at the recent Anuga event held in Cologne, Germany.

The company also won several awards at the event, where it was showcasing innovation such as Camembert donuts.

The Bavarian family business, established in 1905, creates cheese specialties from alpine milk from more than 12,000 cows from 250 farm partners within a maximum radius of 50 kilometers.

Products include Camembert, Brie, cheesecake bites, baked Camembert and Mozzarella, a PDI Obadza spreadable cheese range, and grilling cheese.

All the company’s products, which are sold to more than 40 countries around the world, contain no flavor enhancers, preservatives or colorings.

Earlier this year, the company set up a virtual 3D booth interested companies can visit to learn more about the company and its products.

Dairy Reporter spoke with Hiltrud Scheuring, senior key account manager, international, at the event.
