Lactalis Canada’s new ethnic brand Khaas
The Canadian subsidiary of France-based Lactalis Group has introduced the Khaas brand of ethnic yogurts, which targets the North American country’s South Asian, Middle Eastern and North African consumers. Two products are available - Khaas Halal and Khaas Dahi. Both are gelatine-free and contain no artificial preservatives, with the former being certified Halal.
Khaas Halal and Dahi yogurt products are sold at major retailers and ethnic grocery stores across Canada in the following varieties and formats: 0%, 2%, and 3% milk fat in both 750g tubs and 2kg pouches.
