Danone North America’s plant-based creamers
Danone North America launched the new Silk Mocha Almond Creamer and the So Delicious Dairy Free French Vanilla Coconutmilk Creamer (pictured).
According to the company, around 47% of Americans describe themselves as flexitarians and nearly half of those say their diet represents a permanent lifestyle change. At the same time, plant-based creamer sales have increased by more than 27% in the last year, and plant-based creamers make up more than 10% of the overall creamer category.
Silk Mocha Almond Creamer is described as ‘smooth, lusciously creamy and bursting with chocolate-y flavor, minus the dairy’.
Kallie Goodwin, vice-president of traditional creamers at Danone North America, explained: “Silk was the first brand to debut plant-based creamers, and with new Mocha Almond Creamer, we're giving you even more delicious flavors of our No.1 plant-based creamer to enjoy.”
The creamer is available at retailers nationwide.
Danone North America is also re-introducing its So Delicious Dairy Free French Vanilla Coconutmilk Creamer. The company says this new version has an improved recipe ‘for an even smoother, rich vanilla flavor’. Alongside French Vanilla, the CPG launched the Sweet & Creamy Coconutmilk Creamer.
The latest offerings boast new branding, with bolder graphics to highlight the fflavors. “With French Vanilla and Sweet & Creamy Coconutmilk Creamers, we have reimagined our creamers, delivering even more flavor for consumers,” added Goodwin. “These new creamers bring the flavors and richness you normally find in a coffeeshop straight to your fridge, and the creamy flavors will add just the right amount of sweetness to your cup of coffee.”
