Orkla Food Ingredients buys northern German ice cream company

Norwegian company Orkla Food Ingredients has, through its wholly owned subsidiary Eisunion GmbH, signed and completed an agreement to purchase 100% of the shares in the German sales and distribution company Eis Ludwig Gräbner GmbH (“Eis Gräbner”).

Protein pouches, whey rpotein, cave-aged Cheddar and candy-flavored cheese snacks are among the new products hitting the dairy shelves in April.

Russia proposes changes to dairy vs. non-dairy labeling to WTO

The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the regulatory body of Russia, has notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of amendments seeking to distinguish between dairy products with or without milk fat substitutes.
