Cargill reports a 20% earnings loss in Q2

Irish cooperatives Lakeland Dairies and LacPatrick Dairies have reached agreement to merge following the unanimous approval of the boards of both cooperative societies who are recommending the proposed merger to their respective shareholders.

Emmi increases stake in Dutch company AVH

Swiss dairy company Emmi has held a stake in the goat’s and sheep’s milk product trader AVH dairy trade B.V. (AVH), based in Bergen, the Netherlands, since January 2013, and is now increasing its stake from 75% to 90%.
