Fonterra looks to cheese to grow Korean market

As New Zealand marks the one-year anniversary of its Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with South Korea, Fonterra Co-operative Group says it is looking to grow sales of its dairy products there, particularly cheese.

New Zealand sheep milk PGP program kicks off

Building an environmentally, socially and economically sustainable industry to meet the growing demand for sheep milk products is the goal of a new sheep milk Primary Growth Partnership (PGP) program that has officially kicked off in New Zealand.

In partnership with the World Bank Group’s International Finance Corporation and the Dutch development bank FMO, Royal FrieslandCampina N.V. has acquired a majority stake of 51% in Engro Foods – Pakistan’s second largest dairy producer.
