UAE camel milk gets EU green light and looks to new markets

The UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MoCCAE) has announced the European Commission has approved the UAE’s Camel Milk Residue Monitoring Plan and continues to allow the export of UAE camel milk to the 27 EU countries for 2021.

Consumers in the UAE and other Gulf states will soon see more imported dairy products from India due to a Indian government scheme.

India announces freight subsidy for dairy exports

A wider variety of dairy products from India will soon be available to consumers in regions including the Gulf, thanks to a Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) scheme intended to extend air freight assistance to exporters.

The NFU said it believes its strategy could double the value of British dairy exports over the next 10 years.
