Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited has announced its third-quarter business update, narrowed the range for its 2019/2020 forecast Farmgate Milk Price, and announced an opening forecast Farmgate Milk Price range for the 2020/2021 season.

New Zealand dairy cooperative Fonterra has announced its FY18 annual results, the plan to improve its business performance and the outlook for FY19, including a review of its investment with Chinese company Beingmate.

Fonterra has stopped its global CEO search to review its current portfolio and direction, and appointed its chief operating officer, Farm Source, Miles Hurrell, as interim CEO.

Fonterra Co-operative Group has announced Miles Hurrell will take over as the New Zealand cooperative’s interim chief executive with immediate effect, and the search for a new CEO will temporarily be halted.

Fonterra's products, such as Anmum, Fernleaf and Anchor, will now be available through Lazada to 560m consumers in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

New Zealand cooperative Fonterra, the world’s largest dairy exporter, is expanding its online presence to consumers in Southeast Asia for the first time through a new partnership with Lazada, an online shopping destination in the region.

Fonterra’s chief executive Theo Spierings said the business has not delivered the third quarter results it had planned.
