Hindustan Unilever to acquire Adityaa Milk ice cream business

In India, Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has announced it has signed an agreement with Vijaykant Dairy and Food Products Limited (VDFPL) and its group company to acquire its ice cream and frozen desserts business consisting of its brand Adityaa Milk.

In 2017, approval was given for Lithuanian dairy products to be exported to Algeria, Mexico and New Zealand.

According to information from Lithuania’s State Food and Veterinary Service (SFVS), the country’s dairy producers are successfully expanding the export of milk products.

The $51.5m expansion will include a 9,000-square-foot increase to the factory's current footprint.

Nestlé Canada is investing C$51.5m (US$40m) to expand its London, Ontario, Canada, ice cream factory where it produces Hӓagen-Dazs, Parlour, and Drumstick brands for all of Canada, where Nestlé has a 38% share of the ice cream market.
