Job losses at FrieslandCampina in Leeuwarden and Rotterdam

FrieslandCampina is planning to merge its Dutch production and logistics for fresh-daily dairy in Rotterdam with its production for fresh-daily dairy in Maasdam and to close two milk powder towers in Leeuwarden.

Maxum Foods said the arrival of some warmer weather (it will never last, at least in the UK) means EU milk output is expected to grow a little faster.
