Froneri started as an ice cream-focused joint venture between Nestlé and PAI Partners in 2016, and the relationship will be furthered by the acquisition of Nestlé USA’s collection of ice cream brands.

The new lines will have more modern technology and have a faster filling speed.

Nestlé invests in Spanish condensed milk factory

Nestlé has confirmed it will invest nearly €1.9m ($2.1m) in the construction of two new filling lines at its condensed milk factory located in Pontecesures (Pontevedra).

Dairy companies set to fight Spanish fines

The CNMC (National Commission on Markets and Competition) in Spain has fined eight companies who operate in the raw cow’s milk supply market for activities between the years 2000 and 2013.
