The company says its plant-based butter is already as good as its conventional counterpart, and plans to close any taste and texture gaps in dairy-free creams and cheeses within the next three years.
Upfield Group, a global producer of plant-based margarines, spreads and cheese alternatives has announced an investment of €50m ($56.3m) in the creation of the Upfield Food Science Centre in Wageningen, the Netherlands.
