ProAmpac acquires Canadian packaging companies

ProAmpac, a US-based producer of flexible packaging, has acquired Rosenbloom Groupe Inc., Hymopack Ltd. and Dyne-A-Pak, private businesses in Canada that manufacture packaging products.

Bega Cheese confirms Lion Dairy & Drinks acquisition

Bega Cheese Limited said it has entered into a binding share sale and purchase agreement to acquire all of the shares in Lion Dairy & Drinks from Japan’s Kirin Holdings for a net acquisition price of A$534m (US$393m).

The Codex General Standard for the Use of Dairy Terms (CXS 206-1999) was adopted by Codex Alimentarius in 1999.
