Boxing clever

Northampton-based packaging firm Boxes Prestige​ has won the packaging business of the year award at the UK's national Starpack Awards. The business won the accolade for its achievement in diversifying from its established gifts, toiletries and cosmetics market sectors into the highly specialised field of confectionery packaging.

This has resulted in two major product launches and a 33 per cent increase in sales.

"We were enormously impressed by the creativity and innovation shown by the winning company and by its commitment to delivering new launches every year into a highly competitive marketplace,"​ said the Starpack judges. This sits alongside the company's substantial investment in both people and new technologies and has contributed to an outstanding sales growth."​

The national Starpack Awards were established to recognise outstanding business practice, excellence in design and manufacture an investment in people and technology.
