Stanpac relocates Texas packaging operation
Dairy packaging specialist Stanpac is relocating its Dallas operation to Brenham, Texas, in a move that strengthens its partnership with Blue Bell Creameries.
Stanpac supplies paperboard ice cream packaging to Blue Bell Creameries and other dairy manufacturers. By relocating to Brenham, Stanpac will be based next door to Blue Bell, enabling the companies to work closely together and save on logistics costs.
Stanpac will set up operations in a portion of the recently closed Brentex Mills. In the fall of 2010, the packing firm said a new state-of-the-art manufacturing centre will emerge from the old mill, creating up to 90 new manufacturing jobs.
