Former Milk Link CEO quits Arla Foods
Former Milk Link CEO Neil Kennedy has stepped down from his current position at Arla Foods.

Kennedy, who was CEO of Milk Link until the firm’s merger with Arla Foods in 2012, has most recently held the position of senior vice president for milk and member services at Arla.

His resignation will take effect from 31 March 2013.

Commenting on his decision to step down, Kennedy was quick to play down suggestions that the merger with Arla played a part in his decision to quit.

My reason for leaving is purely a personal one. Having been heavily involved in the merger process, I now feel that the time is right to take on a new challenge and pursue new opportunities outside of Arla,” said Kennedy.

Arla’s vice president for marketing, Ash Amirahmadi, has assumed responsibility for milk and member services in addition to his current role.
