A’Safwah Dairy in Oman plans to launch its Elopak Obeikan 250ml mini Pure-Pak Diamond cartons in 2015.

The announcement comes after the dairy released its mini Pure-Pak Diamond cartons with a Curve feature and screw cap to the market in November.

A’Safwah Dairy is part of Dhofar Cattle Feed Co. (DCF Group) and previously packaged its fresh milk in standa5rd 500ml Pure-Pak Classic cartons.

Dhofar is bringing more modern options to the market, with a trendy mini pack for its branded fresh milk and Laban​,” said Ahmed Essam, sales, marketing and technical director, Elopak Obeikan.

We worked alongside the dairy to make the switch to the new mini cartons with the application of a cap for the first time​.”

A SPM-80 Shikoki filling machine from Elopak has been installed at the dairy incresinf volume capacity and production flexibility between the two carton sizes.

The products will be distributed nationwide across the Sultanate of Oman with the 250ml pack.

The cap will bring convenience with a better opening function and the capability to reclose the pack during use for portability​,” added Essam.

This is a handy pack that will suit all the family and brings A’Safwah to new markets and consumers. The two mini Pure-Pak Diamond cartons will be distinctive in Oman and will grow consumer loyalty in new on-the-go markets​.”
