The Process Systems business unit of Ohio-based Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics has expanded its patented HoseGard product portfolio to fit a wider range of hoses.

HoseGard now fits all Versilon hoses as well as other hose products with an outer diameter of 2.150” to 4.875”.

Made of chemical- and corrosion-resistant HDPE, HoseGard is specially engineered to elevate the hose to keep it clean and reduce wear and tear.

Suitable for dairy

HoseGard provides protection to the hose jacket and fittings, which increases the service life of the hose. The two-piece design with stainless steel socket head cap screws installs on the hose, stays in place and allows the hose to slide across the floor.

The built-in handle facilitates movement, placement and carrying of the hose.

Saint-Gobain said it is especially suited for dairy applications where sanitary handling of hoses is a concern.
