Dairy Machinery UK has formed a joint venture with the US sales company MDavis Group (MDG).

Dairy Machinery UK’s Thomas Hardy told DairyReporter the deal means the company can now liquidate assets around the world.

MDavis Group has more than 150 years of experience selling dairy, food and beverage assets throughout North America.

The resulting JV, MDavis Group Europe, will conduct auctions internationally with a primary focus on serving clients throughout Europe.

Greek auction

Working with Dairy Machinery UK, MDG Europe will utilize the same methods as in North America to sell surplus and decommissioned assets for clients in the European market.

In October, MDavis Group Europe will be conducting a large online dairy equipment auction in Greece.

Hardy said registration can quickly be done online, allowing for viewing of all of the items until the auction closes. They are able to place bids on equipment, have the equipment in watch lists and receive reminders about when the auction is coming to an end.

Winning bidders can arrange their own transportation of items purchased, or MDG Europe can do this for the buyer upon request.
