Minebea Intec opens sales and service office in Russia
The announcement follows the company’s successful market development in Eastern Europe.
Formerly known as Sartorius Intec, Minebea Intec's product portfolio includes checkweighers, metal detectors, X-ray inspection systems, platform scales, load cells, vessel and silo scales.
The company has been present in the Russian market for many years with its local partner network. Its subsidiary will be called Minebea Intec RUS.
Saint Petersburg is often referred to as 'Russia's window to Europe'.
“The Russian processing industries increasingly have more stringent requirements on quality and safety,” said Frank Wieland, chief sales officer, Minebea Intec.
“Our sales and service team will stand beside our Russian customers throughout the entire life cycle of our products, providing them with technical consultancy in their local language as well as a reliable service.”
Minebea Intec HQ is based in Hamburg, Germany, and is part of the MinebeaMitsumi Group, based in Tokyo.
