Watch: Quescrem culinary yogurt debuts at SIAL
Dairy company Innolact, based in Lugo, northwest Spain, introduced one of its new products at the SIAL food show in Paris recently, its Quescrem branded culinary yogurt.
The product, which is high in fat and comes in 500g or 2-liter sizes, has been designed for foodservice for different applications and is ideal for both sweet and savory dishes in which a characteristic yogurt flavor is sought.
The product, which won an award at SIAL, has a shelf-life of six months, is recommended for use in foams and mousses, ice creams, sauces and cakes, to which it transfers an intense yogurt flavor, a creamy texture and stability.
Quescrem products include cream cheeses, regular cheese, lactose-free cheese, cheese spreads, palm-free cream cheese chocolate spreads, and goat cheese products.
