Norwegian dairy company TINE SA has made management changes to deliver its new TINE 2025 strategy.

To achieve this, two new positions have been created at the same time as two of the current management group are entering new positions.

The departments of HR, communication and sustainability have been merged into a corporate area, and will be headed by Tina Hermansson Berg.

Hermansson Berg has experience from positions in both HR and communications at companies such as Volvo Cars, Mölnlycke Health Care, Peab and Bring Frigo.

CEO Gunnar Hovland said merging the departments strengthens the culture, competence development and attractiveness as an employer.

Kristin Muri Møller is TINE's new CFO and has more than 20 years of experience from a similar position at Telenor Norway.

Lise Falkfjell, the current HR director, will be given a new role in TINE and will take over the chair of Norseland Ltd, TINE's company in England. The company said this is also the first step to create a more successful TINE culture across international companies.

The current CFO, Jørn Spakrud takes over as head of TINE's pension fund, MP Pension.

At the company’s recent annual meeting, Marit Haugen was re-elected as chairman of the board, with Rolf Øyvind Thune becoming the new deputy.

At the meeting, Haugen talked about plans for the future.

She noted that Jarlsberg's export subsidy ends this year, and there will also be a new facility to be opened in Ireland.

She also added that imports are increasing, people are drinking less milk and the market situation is getting tougher, meaning TINE has to take tough action to control costs.

However, she also said there are opportunities, which means looking beyond the Norwegian market, which the production of Jarlsberg in the new Irish facility would partly address.
