A new Ricotta system is the latest innovative solution designed by Turkish processing equipment manufacturer Hommak.

Designed and produced by Hommak, the R-HM10 Ricotta Cheese Machine enables producers to obtain cheese with high protein content thanks to the use of the curd cheese needed in dairy applications. Another advantage of the new Ricotta system is that it allows some types of mature cheese to be spreadable.

Hommak said 100ml of Ricotta cheese contains 14g of proteins, and is also rich in leucine and amino acids that accelerate burning fat. Leucine is one of the BCAA amino acids that cannot be produced in the body.

The company said the new equipment is compliant with EU safety standards (CE standards); engineered, manufactured and tested according to ISO EN 9001 Quality System; and has been designed for easy maintenance and cleaning (CIP and SIP).

Abrasive and viscous products can be used with the stainless-steel equipment, which features a touch-screen control panel (PLC).  It also features automatic homogenization pressure control with pneumatic adjustment (optionally manual adjustment).

Hommak said the machine has a smaller footprint due to its ergonomic, hygienic design. It also features a high-pressure gauge with analog diaphragm.

The patented new system for whey cheese can be used to make a creamy type of cheese to mix with kaskkaval cheese, and can also be used for mixing margarine and butter.
