There have been several new products announced this week.

In the US, Borden Dairy​ has launched three milks with flavors designed to recreate the experience of going to fairs cancelled by the coronavirus pandemic.

Dallas-based Borden has created three limited edition products – Cotton Candy, Caramel Popcorn, and Banana Taffy.

The flavored milks will be available for purchase in 16-oz. bottles at Walmart, HEB, Circle K, Dallas and Houston Kroger stores, and other retailers in Texas, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Ohio.

"While we can't all be together in person to enjoy all the famous food of the State Fair, families can still enjoy the Fair's fun and indulgent flavors in their homes when they try Borden's unique milk flavors,"​ said Pete Schenkel, Borden board member and former chairman of the State Fair of Texas.

"The State Fair holds a special place in my heart as it does for many, and the company is honoring the tradition by bringing consumer-voted flavors to the dairy aisle through mid-October."

So Delicious Dairy Free launches new desserts

US company So Delicious Dairy Free has updated its line of Light Frozen Desserts. So Delicious Light Frozen Desserts are a revamp of the brand’s frozen mousse line, and each lavour has 330 calories or fewer per pint.

Each So Delicious Light Frozen Dessert is Certified Gluten-Free, Vegan Action Certified and Non-GMO Project Verified. Every So Delicious Light Frozen Dessert is also 330 calories or less per pint.

The six flavors are Salted Caramel, Peanut Butter, Strawberry, Cocoa Chip, Mint Chip and Tiramisu.

So Delicious Light Frozen Desserts are available at grocery stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $5.49 per pint.

Grounded debuts new products

UK brand Grounded is launching a range of plant-based protein products it is calling ‘m*Ilkshakes.

The shakes, which will retail for £2.75 ($3.60) per 490ml carton, are available in m*lk chocolate and mint choc flavors.

The vegan shakes, in 100% recyclable plant-based packaging, contain 20g of plant protein and are made from a blend of organic sunflower protein, fair trade cocoa and coconut cream.
