ColdSnap for Business launched
ColdSnap for Business is a Keurig/Nespresso-style machine for ice cream and other frozen confections that lets stores and businesses offer their customers and employees frozen confections in individualized servings, on-the-spot, free of messy preparation and cleanup.
ColdSnap for Business machines use a patented rapid freezing technology to instantly freeze ambient temperature product in single-serving recyclable ColdSnap Pods. Businesses, such as convenience stores, airports, spas, car dealers, hotels, caterers, and other offices and businesses, can place a ColdSnap machine on a table, desk, or countertop without the need for installation. No freezing, preparation, cartridges, filters, clean up, or plumbing is required.
ColdSnap for Business is made for heavy duty continuous commercial use. The ColdSnap system produces multiple consecutive frozen confections without requiring a re-cooling phase. The machine accepts shelf-stable, ambient temperature ColdSnap Pods, then repeatedly freezes and dispenses the contents of the pods.
ColdSnap’s freezing technology creates micro-sized ice crystals 40% smaller than store-bought products. ColdSnap Pods are shelf-stable and can be shipped at ambient temperature. Through the ColdSnap system, ice cream can now be shipped directly to stores and offices without the use of dry ice or cold storage, reducing the costs traditionally associated with shipping frozen ice cream.
ColdSnap for Business machines and Pods will be available for purchase through the ColdSnap website at www.ColdSnap.com and at select retail locations. In addition to the business version, a ColdSnap version will also be available for home use. Other food and beverage categories will be introduced in 2021.
